Description

This stream deals with methodological issues concerning law and modernity. If law is studied from the perspective of modernity, or 'multiple modernities', what kind of research is required? Can one stick to a traditional, monodisciplinary (e.g., legal, sociological or philosophical) approach or is a new, multidisciplinary or interdisciplinary approach needed? If so, what would be the elements of this new approach and what kind of challenges does one have to face?
