Is CMR losing the battle? Or, the increase of contractual 'freedom' and the growing influence of EU law in international road transport

Description

In Europe the influence of international transport conventions is waning in the transport arena. Where this very much international industry was dominated by uniform law found in international treaties for decades, if not centuries, now European law is taking over. In some, but by no means all instances this means that a more or less global approach is replaced by a more regional one.
