Milieux activants et recherche-création : une pensée et une pratique écologiques

Activity: Talk or presentationInvited talkAcademic

Description

This presentation focuses on a case study, linked to four different projects carried out by Christoph Brunner and Gisèle Trudel between 2015 and 2024 and according to their locality, in Montreal, Zurich, Hong Kong and Hamburg. The projects explore approaches to mobility and creative and artistic interventions in public spaces. The discussion will thus engage with the differential conditions of the respective activating milieu, to enhance an ecological thinking and practice of research-creation. Such a participatory approach raises ethical questions relating to the enactment (activation) and production of meaning. The meaning given to the word “ecological” here, for example, is based on the multiple ways of thinking and acting with the forces and actors involved. The intention of the conversation is based in a proposition, for by paying attention to their transversal scope, the four projects enter into resonance, potentially altering each other while being engaged and activated.
