Description

Within the frame of the Prince Claus Chair’s research “Connecting with Care”, interested in intrasouth feminist engagements, this series of seminars link decolonial thought and experience to concerns around intersectional justice, equity and development, ecology, and feminism.
The series seeks to stablish bonds with the Latin American critical thought and experience – a perspective that takes as its central axis the critique of the coloniality of power and the struggles to dismantle it. It strives to open, make room, and learn from southern academic debates located in the margins of western epistemology and that, for that reason, have been systematically ignored, do not circulate or are simply unknown in the North Anglo European academia. The invitation to build bridges is a call to blur and transcend the limits between disciplines, languages, cultures, literatures and knowing subjects.
