Description
Women from marginalized territories are often overlooked when speaking of women’s leadership, but they are often at the frontlines of environmental justice movements. Pangea Foundation has been involved in the four-year research programme WEGO-ITN (Well-being Ecology Gender and Community) on feminist political ecology and this parallel event will provide an opportunity for academics and activists involved in the programme to speak about their work in front of a global public. It will give space to listen to women’s voices and show women’s practices in their struggle for protecting their land and livelihoods and their health and the health of their children and communities.Period | 22 Mar 2022 |
