Description

As researcher with VI.BE and guest researcher with the Erasmus University Rotterdam, I was invited as the inaugural guest on the new podcast, Metal Wonderland, by Lotte Lodens en Heleen Degraef. Diving into the genre's most pronounced stereotypes, I used my experience as a researcher and public speaker to connect these stereotypes to historical developments within and around the genre, and thereby made a call for their remediation.
