T&C Business Clustering Patterns in Rotterdam; data underlying the publication “Re-Weaving Threads for a Circular Economy: Spatio-temporal dynamics of the textile and clothing sector in Rotterdam”

Exported image files for the analysis of business clustering patterns in Rotterdam between the years 1996-2022. These images have been made into GIFs to make tracking trends over time easier.Accompanying the GIFs are line charts showing the changing numbers of businesses (solid line) and employees (dashed line) for each business category in Rotterdam's textile and clothing sector between 1996 and 2022. The direct numbers and increase/decrease can be found in the PDF attached, aggregated to the nearest multiple of 5. The colour of the cells indicates the proportion of the number of businesses per category in relation to the total number of businesses that year, and the second set of tables shows the percentage that a certain category occupies of the entire textile and clothing sector of that year in Rotterdam.The data files used for the exports are derived from the Dutch LISA database.
