Based in Rotterdam, the economic and logistics centre of Europe, Erasmus School of Economics has provided excellent education and produced excellent research for over a century. The School has played host to many of the world’s experts in their fields of research and boasts the first Nobel prize in economic sciences, awarded to Jan Tinbergen in 1969. By pursuing its three main principles: “Quality first”, “Integration of top research with top education” and “A prime economic focus on current and future real-world questions” Erasmus School of Economics strives to be leading in academics for economics and econometrics in the world.
