Abdessamad Bouabid is interested in topics at the intersection of migration, social exclusion and crime, such as (mass) stigmatization, moral panics, social identity, structural violence, urban riots and ethnic profiling. His work is influenced by critical criminology, symbolic interactionism, cultural criminology, and the ethnographic approach.
