Nuerjiazi Akeerbieke is a PhD candidate at the International Institute of Social Studies, Erasmus University Rotterdam. She works for ERC project “Green Industrial Policy in the Age of Rare Metals: A Trans-regional Comparison of Growth Strategies in Rare Earths Mining” (GRIP-ARM). She is responsible for the Kazakhstan work package, which explores questions of geopolitics, development studies, and energy transition in Central Asia. Email: [email protected]
