Research interests

Alyt Oppewal is a human movement scientist and assistant professor at the Department of General Practice, Intellectual Disability Medicine, at the Erasmus MC. Her line of research is on physical activity and fitness in adults with intellectual disabilities, focusing on epidemiology, the effects of exercise programs and the promotion of a healthy lifestyle in adults with intellectual disabilities.
