Research interests
**Benedict Yiyugsah is working at the International Institute of Social Studies (ISS) of the Erasmus University of Rotterdam as a PhD Researcher on an ERC-funded project called Aiding Social Protection: The Political Economy of Externally Financing Social Policy in Developing Countries (AIDSOCPRO).**
Before assuming this role, he worked with the Ghana Center for Democratic Development (CDD-Ghana) based in Accra, Ghana since 2010 as a Research Officer. In this capacity, he worked to promote good democratic governance and economic openness not only in Ghana but Sub-Saharan Africa.
