Catherine Koekoek holds degrees in architecture (MSc, cum laude, Delft) and philosophy (MA, cum laude, Leiden). She currently works on her PhD on post-truth politics at the Erasmus School of Philosophy, Rotterdam. The PhD project addresses how post-truth politics works, how it challenges democratic thought and action, and which political practices could more effectively engage with it. Her research includes her current work with participatory community theatre Het Rotterdams Wijktheater. Building upon feminist philosophy, she is committed to thinking for, with and in the world, and her work includes real-life case studies as well as theoretical reflection.
