Research interests

David Blok is an academic researcher at the [Erasmus Movez Lab][]. In June 2018, he successfully defended his dissertation, entitled “*Introducing systems approaches to health behavioral research*”. His current research focuses on developing and applying complex system methods, in particular agent-based modeling, to study health behaviors in the context of (online) social networks. Next to his work at the Erasmus Movez Lab, he also has a position as a senior scientist of infectious disease modeling at the Department of Public Health at Erasmus MC.
