In 2017 she obtained her doctoral degree in social sciences at the KU Leuven (Belgium). She is mainly interested in how new media influence romantic relationship development, maintenance and dissolution. Her research expertise involves mobile daters’ motives and outcomes as well as ghosting and infidelity experiences on dating apps.
