Research interests

Iain Todd is an experienced energy professional, whose career has spanned consultancy in the private sector (1976-1984 and 2014-2017), the UK Civil Service (1984-2004), a project manager with Aberdeen City Council (2004-2014), and a PhD student at the University of St Andrews (2017-2020).  During his time at the UK Civil Service, he was the UK's Director of Renewable Energy (2002-2004).  He was employed as a post-doc researcher at Erasmus University Rotterdam during 2020. and now serves as a visiting professor on energy issues.
