Research interests

I am a dual fellowship trained pediatric orthopedic surgeon with a keen interest in clinical research. My clinical activities focus on pediatric limb reconstruction and pediatric hip disorders. 

I am Principal Investigator Paediatric Orthopaedic Surgery at Erasmus MC - Sophia Children's Hospital. My research activities are organized in 3 research lines: pediatric hip pathology, orthopedic problems in children with neuromuscular diseases and lower limb deformities. Overarching themes are growth, guided growth and family centered care.
