I focus on the use of geo-spatial data to assess, at fine levels of geographic resolution, the impact on development (e.g. economic activity, health, beliefs) of global economic policies (e.g. aid, trade agreements), particular political economy phenomena (e.g. clientelism, favoritism), and (non-)natural disasters (e.g. earthquakes).
