As an educator, Julien teaches courses on philosophy and politics at ESPhil and Erasmus University College. His teaching focuses on contemporary philosophical and ethical theory within various traditions, as well as the limits of philosophical modernity. Julien's academic qualifications include a Bachelor's and Master's degree (cum laude) from Erasmus University Rotterdam, a PhD in political philosophy from the School of Social and Behavioral Sciences, and teaching qualifications including a BKO/UTQ and a qualification for teaching in secondary education.
By probing the complexities of society and human nature, Julien's research seeks to shed light on the underlying philosophical, political, and educational factors that shape our world.
