Måns Abrahamson is a PhD candidate at the Erasmus School of Philosophy and Erasmus Institute for Philosophy and Economics (EIPE). His research project is part of the Erasmus Initiative Smarter Choices for Better Health and concerns the conceptualisation of 'preference laundering' and its use in economic evaluations. The aim of his research is to provide a functional characterisation of laundered (sometimes called 'informed', 'purified', 'true') preferences in order to inform preference elicitation procedures underlying benefit assessments of health interventions.
