Research interests

- Prognostic modelling: identifying the clinical, histopathological and genetic profile of people with a high risk of skin cancer (keratinocyte carcinoma), metastasis and death.

- Technological innovation: Validating, implementing and evaluating (mixed-methods) the diagnostic accuracy of artificial intelligence to diagnose skin cancer, which is now set out in various implementation studies.

- Personalized care: Developing and demonstrating the effect of personalized information for skin cancer patients through personalized letters (for BCC) to reduce the need for unnecessary follow-up visits and a bottom-up development of a personalised survivor ship care plan for melanoma patients.
