Research interests

Rio Widianto is a PhD researcher at the International Institute of Social Studies of Erasmus University Rotterdam. His PhD project is based on insights from multiple disciplines, including psychology, human behaviour, and economics. The project investigates the influence of taxpayers' behaviour on tax compliance issues in Indonesia. In addition, the project aims to develop future interventions to increase tax compliance rates in the Global South.
