Research interests
Robert Dur is Professor of Economics in the Department of
Economics at Erasmus University Rotterdam and a
research fellow of the Tinbergen Institute, CESifo
Munchen, and IZA Bonn. He held visiting positions at
Bocconi Univerisity, the University of Munich, and the
University of Vienna. His research interests include
personnel economics, organizational economics, and
behavioral economics. He works on both theory and
empirics. Currently, he is undertaking a series of field
experiments in companies and public-sector organizations
on the effects of incentive pay and feedback on workers'
performance and well-being. His work has been published
in among others the American Economic Review,
Economic Journal, Journal of Labor Economics, and
Journal of Public Economics. He is an associate editor of
the journal Economics of Governance.
