Research interests

Roman is a visual anthropologist and filmmaker. He works as a PhD candidate for the Erasmus School of Health Policy and Management. He did his bachelors in Cultural Anthropology and Development Sociolology and has a master's degree in Visual Anthropology.

 

With a combination of qualitative research methologies, visual practices and cinematography he attempts to bridge the gap between art and the social sciences. 

His current work focusses on how visual methodologies can play a role in both research on and the conveyance of patient experience.
