Research interests

<p>Sam is currently an Assistant Professor at the Erasmus School of Economics and a research fellow at the Tinbergen Institute. Prior to this, he held a position as Lecturer (Assistant Professor) at the University of Liverpool Management School, following a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Luxembourg. He completed his PhD in September 2022 at the Erasmus School of Economics and the Tinbergen Institute.</p>
<p>His research interests lie in the field of applied microeconomics, with a focus on labour and personnel economics, as well as sports economics.</p>
<p>His work has been published in <em>Management Science</em>, <em>Labour Economics</em>, and the <em>International Journal of Industrial Organization</em>.</p>
