Research interests

Samaneh Bagheri is a postdoctoral researcher at Business Information Management (BIM) Section, Department of Technology and Operations Management, Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University

In this role, she works on the topic “urban data platforms" to investigate questions related to governance, architecture, and business model of such urban data platforms. Samaneh received her PhD degree in Information Systems from the Industrial Engineering Department of Eindhoven University of Technology. The focus of her PhD work was on the domain of IT governance to support business?IT alignment in multi-stakeholder business ecosystems. Her research has been published in academic journals including International Journal of Information Management, and Journal of Information and Software Technology. During her PhD, she supervised several Master and bachelor students and engaged in teaching activities.  She holds an MSc in Industrial Engineering (with honors) from Tarbiat Modares University, Iran.
