Research interests
Dr. Tayfun Kucukyilmaz graduated from Ankara Science High School in 1995. He earned his B.S. in Computer Science and Engineering at Bilkent University in 2000. He received his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Engineering at Bilkent University in 2003 and 2012, respectively. Between 2010 and 2012, he worked as a contracted intern fat Yahoo! Research, Barcelona. Between 2012 and 2021 he worked as Assistant Professor in University of Turkish Aeronautical Association and TED University, Computer Engineering Departments. His research interests are: Web Search Engines, machine learning, parallel and distributed systems, high performance computing (HPC), and information retrieval.
