Yaari Hodara is a PhD candidate in Organization Theory in the Department of People and Organizations at Rotterdam School of Management (RSM), Erasmus University
His research examines the process through which organizations and institutions become infused with values. He is particularly interested in how interactions among organizational actors within a field facilitate (or frustrate) the attainment of these values. Using the pension sector as an empirical context, Yaari investigates how interactions and dynamics within the sector shape, over time, the tension between institutional values and operational requirements organizations face for achieving their expected goals.
Yaari holds a cum laude Master’s in Organizational Behavior and Development from the Arison School of Business at Reichman University, and a Bachelor’s in Education and Business Management from Kibbutzim College of Education. Before joining RSM, Yaari led an entrepreneurial project for a regional economic development based on the CDFI model (Community Development Financial Institutions). He also worked as a consultant and lecturer for organizations across various sectors. Earlier, Yaari also studied music at La Colmena.
