Research interests

Prof. Yuwen Li is professor of Chinese law, currently her research interests cover foreign investment law in China, comparative investment law and international investment law, as well as the judicial system, civil procedural law and administrative litigation law in China. She graduated from the Law Department of Peking University, China, in 1984. Since 1985 she has studied and worked in the Netherlands. At present, she is also the Director of Erasmus China Law Centre at the Law School of Erasmus University Rotterdam, The Netherlands. Over the past two decades, she has co-directed more than ten Sino-Dutch legal cooperation projects with Chinese universities, National Judges College in China, Supreme People's Procuratorate, Ministry of Civil Affairs, and Central Institute for Correctional Police of China (affiliated with the Ministry of Justice). She is co-chair and co-founder of the Asia-Pacific and Europe Law Institutes Alliance (APELIA). She is also the EUR's China Ambassador.
