2023 Han Entzinger Award for Best Master Thesis on Migration

The Han Entzinger Award is a yearly prize awarded to an excellent Masters' thesis on migration-related diversities written by a student at Erasmus University Rotterdam. The winner of the 2023 award is Jill Stigter (International Master’s in Advanced Research in Criminology), who wrote her thesis on the topic of lived experiences from people-on-the-move with harm resulting from migration control practices in Greece and the EU, under the supervision of Richard Staring (Erasmus University Rotterdam), Gert Vermeulen and Olga Petintseva (Ghent University).
