Abstract
The present investigation aims to analyse the flow of disinformation in the context of the covid-19 pandemic in Brazil. The analysis is developed from a quantitative approach, using documental analysis. The sample consists of publications that circulated on social media between January and May 2020. In this period, a political crisis was added to the public health crisis in the country, which highlights the discussion of the main themes in the public debate. The results demonstrate that the topic "coronavirus" grows progressively over the months analysed. However, there are significant changes in the frameworks of the theme, which gradually come to reflect the political dispute created around the pandemic crisis.
