Abstract

This study attempts an appraisal of administrative capability for development in the Sudan since its independence in 1956 till 1975. An analysis is made of the relationship between the processes of development planning and administrative change at the national, sectoral and project levels, with a view to arriving at an agenda for future administrative reforms in the Sudan.
