Abstract

One of the most frequent complications occurring after abdominal surgery is incisional hernia, a defect in the abdominal wall. This thesis bundles multiple anatomical and clinical studies on prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of incisional hernia and primary ventral abdominal wall hernia.
