Abstract
The article discusses research findings on how bias can be mitigated when executives are valuating potential acquisitions depending on how the economy is performing. Topics include strategies to eliminate executives' bias in valuation and applying behavioral finance to decision making in 'hot' and 'cold' deal markets.
