Abstract

Within the cultural and creative industries, entrepreneurs are also highly motivated by their passion for their artistic and creative activity. In this context, creative entrepreneurship seems relatively often related to a certain lifestyle motivated by this passion, rather than by economic benefits. Despite these studies, there is a gap in our understanding of the relationships between creative entrepreneurs and tourism. The research question underlying this exploratory
study is therefore as follows: To what extent are creative entrepreneurs embedding tourism in their business models, and how can this contribute to building a more liveable city?
