Abstract
Dit artikel beoogt de relevantie van het trainen van niet-technische vaardigheden voor medisch professionals binnen de kindergeneeskunde aan te geven. De systematiek van crew resource management (CRM) is hiervoor zeer geschikt. Na de inhoudelijke uitleg over CRM wordt een blik op de toekomst geworpen.
This article explains the relevance of non-technical skillstraining for paediatric (para)medical professionals and focuses on the aviation-based Crew Resource Management (CRM) training format. CRM became very effective in aviation and has clear potential for the medical domain. Future developments and the need for standardization are discussed.
