Abstract
To new functions and occupations professionalisation is traditionally the most favoured route to a better position on the health care labor market. However, less specialisations in health care choose this route as they are dependent on local contexts in which local stakeholdersets define the content of their domains. The diversity of local contexts causes heterogenity of domains which makes consensus on domains problematic. Not only for new functions and occupations but also for the government that is interested in protecting social tasks.
