Derechos Humanos y desarrollo: ¿Una conjugación (im) posible en un contexto de globalización neoliberal?

Research output: Contribution to journalArticleAcademicpeer-review

Abstract

In the last decades, global development agendas have incorporated social and environmental components in order to overcome a narrow perspective based upon economic growth. 70 years have passed since the UN Human Rights Declaration and the so-called development era were launched. Nevertheless, results regarding the materialization of human rights and the improvement of life conditions appear to be still insufficient. The present paper aims to establish the existing limitations which impede the articulation between human rights and development within a neoliberal globalization context.
