Abstract

This dissertation explores how digital behavior change interventions can support mental health without promoting sustained usage. Employing a Research Through Design approach, the study develops ROOM, a mobile app for university students' emotional regulation, investigating innovative design strategies that encourage learning transfer beyond digital interfaces.
