Abstract
Lung cancer screening by means of low-dose CT (LCS) is in a phase of trial implementation or reimbursement evaluation throughout Europe.(1,2) LCS strategies often include concurrent smoking cessation support, but this is not currently reflected in most estimates of prospective screening effectiveness for European countries.
