«Estampas Maricas de Lima». Un ejercicio de recuperación y reconstrucción de la memoria desde las propias voces de la disidencia sexual

The project «Lima Maricas Postcards» had the objective of making an exercise of
recovery and reconstruction of memory The project used the resources of the sociohistorical imagination, and the figure of the «Postcards» as methodological strategies to recreate «stories» based on certain milestones and subjects of sexual and gender diversity that have been present in the city of Lima during the republican life. This project recognizes that through this exercise it is possible to confront the process of erasure and invisibility, as well as the possibility of generating «references», a history and collective identity through a new social imaginary.
