Abstract
Prepared for United Nations Centre on Human Settlements (UNCHS), the volume is the first substantive overview of human settlements produced by the UN since the Global Review of Human Settlement published to coincide with the 1976 Vancouver Conference. The Global Report reviews human settlements problems, trends and issues in both developing and developed countries and is supported by a separate statistical annex. It is to be published in the main languages of the UN system.
