Abstract

The overall aim of the research conducted in this thesis is to evaluate the clinical management and prognostic factors, assess the validity of tools to measure long-term outcomes, and determine the impact of long-term outcomes on the QoL of patients with GBS in Bangladesh and to compare these findings with those from high-income countries, with a focus on identifying region-specific challenges, improving clinical practices, and advancing future research in LMICs (Figure 1).
