Abstract

In the AIV’s view it is both possible and necessary for states and other actors to take action to keep climate change within the limits set by the Paris Agreement. In this advisory letter the AIV argues that fast, forceful intervention is therefore desirable. It also believes that financing measures and the development of standards could make a key difference. Above all, the AIV believes that the Netherlands should actively seek cooperation and show leadership both via the EU and within the EU framework.
