Abstract

Alcohol consumption increases the risk of seven different cancer types including cancers of the oral cavity, pharynx, larynx, oesophagus, liver, colorectum, and breast. This thesis aimed to measure the impact of population alcohol consumption on the burden of cancer globally, regionally, and in countries worldwide.
