Abstract
This thesis describes new applications of the CCA organoid model, in which the model is expanded with the immune and extracellular tumor microenvironment components, the CCA organoid kinome is explored, and the influence of pro-inflammatory cytokines is examined. This demonstrates that CCA organoids, in their current form or supplemented with tumor microenvironment components, are a promising model for the discovery of new therapies and tumor stratification strategies.
