Abstract
This article discusses the role of Ukrainians in World War II commemorations in the Netherlands. The author notes that the parallels drawn between World War II and the current war in Ukraine mainly focus on the Dutch experience of the German occupation. How could more space be created to also accommodate the experiences of Ukrainians themselves at the time of World War II?
