Abstract

This thesis is divided into three parts, part 1 investigated how patients experienced the short hospital stay and the first weeks after a total knee arthroplasty. In part 2 differences in recovery trajectories after a total knee arthroplasty were investigated, and finally part 3 investigated how the current fast-track recovery can be further optimized.
