[•] Moderately centralized workflow networks facilitated team performance. [•] Workflow network density was positively related to team potency. [•] The positive effects of network density on team potency were more pronounced in culturally diverse teams. [•] Culturally diverse teams required greater network centralization for optimal team performance.
