Abstract
This contribution is based on my master's dissertation and ethnographic fieldwork conducted in Thessaloniki, Greece, where I have explored the experiences of people-on-the-move with harms and injustices resulting from the EU and Greece's migration control practices. Through storytelling by my research participants and by taking a social harm-based approach I have recognized and identified different types of harm, and I have attempted to construct a bridge between the more abstract EU and Greek migration control policies and the micro-level harms these have caused for people-on-the-move.
